Here at Nature's Oil, we only use the highest quality pure vegetable USP kosher glycerin which is one thing that makes us stand out from some of our competition. Shipped from our FDA registered facility. Important note: All of our glycerin is USP KOSHER when it comes into Bulk Apothecary. Our smaller sizes such as 16oz., Gallon and 5 Gallon are not down packaged with a Rabbi overseeing it so those smaller sizes will not retain the Kosher Certification. Only the drum sizes will have the Kosher Certification. Some of our competitors use the waste byproduct from local biodiesel manufacturer’s which is common, but also very dangerous. Without proper preparation, it is possible for lower grade glycerin to have unwanted additives that are undesirable for personal care or food products. Because of this, we highly recommend, that if you are going to manufacture your own product you only use a very high grade USP or food grade glycerin from a reputable supplier."
