Additionally, Polycarbonate can be bent neatly. Thin sheets can be bent cold with sheet metal techniques, while thicker ones are easy to shape with the help of a heat gun. It is also perfect for thermoforming or vacuum forming. This makes Polycarb perfect for both DIY and professional projects around the home, shop, or for manufacturing. Exclusive EasyRuler Protective Film makes work even easier, measure, mark, and draw on the film and then just satisfyingly peel it off to expose a pristine, smooth, clear sheet. Polycarbonate is just about as easy to work with as wood but with unprecedented strength. Use simple tools like snips for thin sheets or a power saw with a plastics blade for cutting , as well as standard drill bits to make holes.
